Kairi is the Keyblade weilder, not Sora, who takes Kairi's place, for the most part.


❤ Is Hollow Bastion's Prince of Heart. Roxas, his Nobody, is the Wizard of Memories.
❤ Will eventually wield a keyblade just... not at this point. (yet.)

❣ Sora lives in Radiant Garden and meets Ventus, who protected him from the unversed. Being Sora, he wanted to hold Ventus's keyblade and grabbed at the shiny 'sword', accidentally doing an Inheritance Ceremony. Weee.

❣ When Radiant Garden falls to darkness, Sora and his parents take shelter in Seventh Heaven, where he grows up in a small, but protected (mostly) part of what's now called Hollow Bastion.

❣ Sora and Kairi meet when she's exploring Hollow Bastion and he gains her necklace with the protective spell, as Kairi decides that she's going to protect him. After all, a boy with such light in his heart needs to be protected from the darkness around him. Not an hour later Maleficent, who already is working to manipulate and brainwash Riku, causes Sora to be placed in mortal danger when trying to nab him. Only this backfires as Kairi summons a huge gust of wind to catch him, which she does. Sorta.

❣ Sora's comatose body is then grabbed by Riku under Maleficent's orders (they think he's just out cold at this point in time) and taken to join the other Princes of heart, where it will stay until Kairi returns to Hollow Bastion sometime later.

❣ Once Kairi arrives there it's just a matter of getting her to release his heart, which also releases Roxas and Namine.

❣ Sora wakes up and he, Tifa and Aerith make their way out of the castle, with Sora recognising Kairi and managing to restore her to her proper form.

❣ He then follows them to Traverse Town where he's told to stay put as his new friends really need to head back and deal with the heartless. Sora agrees, knowing that no matter how much he wants to help, he is kinda useless given he just woke up from a coma. Also, he doesn't really know how to fight. He'll start to practice a bit, but not much as Explore All The Things around Traverse Town is go!

❣ He, along with others from Hollow Bastion return to the world sometime in the year that Kairi is sleeping. Sora also forgets about her for a year due to Roxas's memory manipulation thingy on Kairi that happens in CoM.

❣ Once he starts to remember her, he heads for Destiny Islands where he starts to make friends there.

❣ He's then kidnapped by Axel, but manages to get away due to help. He ends up in Twilight Town. Meets Pence, Hayner and Olette ... then is kidnapped yet again. Fun times.

❣ Spends the next who knows how long in CTNW in a cell. Bored out of his mind.
